On 24 July 2023, EIFORCES trainees and auditors of the 12th Senior Staff Diploma of Security Forces (DEMFS 12) and 9th Higher Degree of Security Studies (BESS 9) respectively received their certificates and insignia at the Yaoundé Conference Centre.
The event took place during a joint closing ceremony presided over by Mr Joseph BETI ASSOMO, Minister Delegate at the Presidency in charge of Defence, Chair of the EIFORCES Board of Directors (MINDEF/PCA), in the presence of the EIFORCES technical co-supervisors and the Rector of the University of Yaoundé 2.
Seizing this opportunity, the MINDEF/PCA urged the 32 successful candidates (16 for each course), from Cameroon, Congo, Côte d’Ivoire, Guinea, Mali and Togo, to put into practice the skills and aptitudes developed over 20 weeks for DEMFS 12 and 42 weeks for BESS 9 respectively.
It should be noted that these two EIFORCES higher education courses received special funding from the President of the Republic of Cameroon for Cameroonians, while foreign students were sponsored by their respective countries.
BESS 10 is due to open the new academic year on 25 September 2023./-
