The General of Brigade, Director General of the EIFORCES presided, on Friday, October 4, 2019, on behalf of the MINDEF / PCA of the EIFORCES, the closing ceremony of the 3rd training course of Recycling trainers in public order (RECFOP 3) .
The third class of RECFOP 3 was composed of 18 police officers and Gendarmes, public order trainers patented from 13 African countries, namely : Benin, Burkina Faso, Cameroon, Congo Brazzaville, Ivory Coast, Gabon, Guinea Conakry, Madagascar, Mali, Niger, Central African Republic, Senegal and Togo.
Over the course of the two weeks of the internship, it was necessary to upgrade the techniques, tactics and pedagogy for training in the democratic management of crowds.
During his closing address, Brigadier General André Patrice BITOTE urged the trainers of the day to ensure that good practices in the field of maintaining and restoring public order were conveyed.
The Director General also thanked France for supporting this training which contributes not only to the support of the EIFORCES, but also to the strengthening of security governance in Africa.
