Alongside other police training organisations and member institutions of the Réseau International Francophone de Formation policière (FRANCOPOL), EIFORCES took part in the proceedings at Mont-Tremblant in Quebec, from 7 to 9 November 2023.
Brigadier General BITOTE André Patrice, Director General of EIFORCES, and Lieutenant-Colonel NJOYA MOUTAPBEMO Mannoni Thierry, Technical Adviser/Chief of Staff, physically attended the workshops and plenary sessions, which were followed by around twenty EIFORCES staff members via videoconference in Awaé.
FRANCOPOL is one of the sixteen networks of the Organisation Internationale de la Francophonie, set up in 2008 to develop and disseminate good police practice in the French-speaking world.
The theme of this 7th congress, which marked the 15th anniversary of FRANCOPOL, was “Police and citizens: acting better together”.
The next Congress will be held in Paris, France, in 2025.
