On 8 May 2023, Brigadier General André Patrice BITOTÉ, Director General of EIFORCES, received from His Excellency Thierry MARCHAND, French Ambassador to Cameroon, on behalf of the French Minister in charge of the Interior and the Overseas, the Silver Medal for Internal Security + National Police clasp.
Besides, other personalities were also awarded the same medal. The Secretary of State to the Minister of Defence in charge of the National Gendarmerie, Galax Yves Landry ETOGA and the Delegate General for National Security, Martin MBARGA NGUELE received gold, and Brigadier General ELOKOBI Daniel NJOCK, Central Director of Coordination at the National Gendarmerie, Brigadier General Ahmed MAHAMAT, Commander of the National Fire Brigade and Commissioner Dominique BAYA, Secretary General of the General Delegation for National Security received silver./-
