Prevost training: EIFORCES-France partnership goes from strength to strength

The 8th prevost training course concluded on 26 June 2026 in Awaé, confirming the vitality of the partnership between the School and France.

Nineteen new military police officers, police officers and gendarmes from Cameroon, Côte d’Ivoire, Djibouti and Togo received their certificates and insignia during a formal ceremony. Chaired, on behalf of the Brigadier General Director of EIFORCES, by Commissioner Cécile OYONO, Deputy Director-General, this ceremony marked the end of three weeks of intensive training.

The presence of Brigadier General LESAFFRE, Commander of the French Military Police (provost), lent the event a special significance. As the highlight of his official visit to EIFORCES, his participation illustrates France’s ongoing commitment to EIFORCES.
